Dads Autism Discuss Support (DADS)
The Special Educational Needs Service in Luton are developing a group to support fathers/male carers of children with Autistic Spectrum Disorders/Asperger's syndrome.
The group meet on a regular basis, in the evenings. It is for men, who are currently unable to access the parent groups already run by Autism Bedfordshire (held during the day or at the Saturday LOAF sessions). It is hoped that there will be opportunities to plan trips and evenings out, and for fathers/carers to have the chance to offer each other practical suggestions and support.

- DADS – specifically for dads and male carers
Autism West Midlands have prepared many free information sheets which can be downloaded as PDFs from their Autism information resources webpage. They contain practical advice and strategies for families, carers, teachers and other professionals. The webpage also features basic information on autism in other languages under the 'Other language versions' section.
