Infant feeding support

Infant feeding support is part of the Luton health visiting service.

We are a dedicated team of support workers with specialist skills in supporting mothers with breastfeeding.

We talk about the benefits of breastfeeding and how to make it work for you, and also train other health professionals so they can support mums and signpost to available resources.

We ring you shortly after your baby is born to offer support at home or on the phone.

Support for breast feeding will be delivered in partnership with the Health Visiting Service who can also continue to provide support for as long as required.
