Our Lady Help of Christians Roman Catholic Church

Welcome to Our Lady Help of Christians Roman Catholic Church Luton.

Our Parish is part of the Diocese of Northampton and is situated in the heart of Luton. Our community consists of people of all ages and is very international in it's make up.

Our Parish Priest is Fr Dariusz Bialowas and Deacon is Rev Gerry McGrogan.

Below are details of some of the Parish groups and Associations and how you can get involved...

BIBLE STUDY

Once a fortnight on Thursday evenings from 7.30pm to 9.00pm in the meeting room of the Church hall. Led by Fr Jeremy Davies, this involves a mixture of reading and discussion on the books of The Bible, and watching or listening to DVD's or CD's of Bible study talks.

CHOIR

The Choir sings at 9.30 Mass every Sunday (except August when the Choir is on holiday). Practices are held in the church on Wednesday evenings from 7.30-8.30pm(access via the Presbytery). New members are always welcome. An enthusiasm for singing and the ability to attend regularly are the only requirements (it is not essential to read music). If you are interested in joining, please contact Margaret McGrogan on 01582 728544.

UNITY PRAYER GROUP

We are a small friendly group who meet after 5pm Mass every Sunday in the Parish Hall meeting room. We are aged between 20 to 40, but all are welcome.

We have a range of activities that we do, from Rosary, Divine Mercy, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, creative prayer, quiz nights, DVD nights, social events and much more.

If you are interested in coming along we would love to see you, just turn up for a friendly cuppa and a chat.
