Luton Borough Council Reablement Service

While many frail or elderly people are able to manage with a Home Care service for day to day living, for some a special ‘reablement’ service is available to assist them to regain their previous independence; i.e, after a fall, stroke or hip replacement. The reablement home care service provides intensive support and guidance in the early stages to help individuals regain their mobility.

The service is available for people meeting the eligibility criteria following an assessment by social care staff.
