Alzheimer's Society - Luton
Activity clubs offering activities and support for people with dementia and their carers are held:
- Every Wednesday from 10.30am to 12.30pm at Hightown Methodist Church, Hightown Road, Luton
- Every Thursday from 10.30am to 12.30pm at Raynham Way Community Centre, 66 Eaton Green Road, Luton LU2 9JE.
Access to these groups is by referral - please contact the Luton Office for further information. There is a nominal charge for the group.
Our services also include dedicated Dementia Support Workers offering emotional and practical support and information to people with dementia, their carers and families, as well as signposting to our services and to other agencies who may be able to help. Available over the phone and via pre-arranged office visits, home visits and at Dementia Support Service Points located at various venues throughout Bedfordshire and Luton. We also run Carer Information Programmes and Awareness raising talks and events. Please contact the Luton office for details of upcoming events, or if you would like us to come and give a talk to your organisation or group about dementia.
