Affinity Trust - Domiciliary Care Agency - Central & Bedfordshire
Owning or renting your own home is an important part of having control in your life. Supported living is about choosing how, where and who you live with. It is about having support provided around the individual rather than the individual fitting into a service.
Different people need help in different ways to enable them to live the life they would like to live. For some people this could mean help for just a few hours a week, perhaps to prepare meals or to go shopping, or for others it could mean having someone support them day and night.
Affinity Trust have long held the view that supported living is right for just about anyone, regardless of their level of support needs.
Currently Affinity Trust supports around 700 people in the UK. Whether support is being paid for by a local authority or through a person’s own budget, they can create a plan to meet the needs of every individual.
