We are delighted to have been appointed as the provider organisation for families and young people in Luton for the Independent Supporters programme. A leaflet giving you an overview of us an organisation as a quick introduction to who we are and the diverse range of associated experience we currently have can be downloaded below.
We are commissioned to provide Independent Support by the Council for Disabled Children (CDC) who are managing the national roll-out as funded by DfE from now until April 2016. Trained Independent Supporters will be available to your families and young people via individual face-to-face meetings, telephone helpline, website and community venue visits and activities. We are keen to ensure that we provide high quality and flexible support that meets local and individual needs.
Our range of children’s services include:
Family support - delivering practical, proactive and consistent support to families with complex needs.
Contact – providing safe, structured and positive contact services for young people and their families. We are a National Association of Child Contact Centres (NACCC) enhanced accredited provider.
Education – For a learner who is experiencing difficulties at school the right support can prove to be invaluable. We have developed a strong delivery model in education.
Disability - We have been working with disabled children and their families for almost 20 years by offering flexible and responsive packages of support including short breaks.
