Lancaster Avenue Bowls Club

A mixed outdoor Bowling Club with a country atmosphere and the scenic Warden Hills in the background. Bowls is a very competitive game but is also a sociable sport and we welcome new members. The Club is open to all over 11 now that we have a Junior Section. The green is available for play every day from the end of April to early October, weather permitting. We have a full list of ‘friendly’ competitive matches, i.e. non-league, and this appeals to people who want to play bowls without the pressure that goes with the leagues.
