Missing People

We are here to ensure that anyone who is missing can find a safe way to reconnect with a loved one, to get a message home, or, to get to a place of safety; and that families are supported whilst they live with not knowing what has happened to someone they love.

If you've run away, been forced to leave home, are thinking about it or are worried about someone we are here for you. We won't judge you or tell you what to do. We will listen to, understand and help you.

Whether you are missing yourself, or have been affected by the disappearance of a loved one, you can contact us whenever and however you want on our helpline 116 000.

Message home service

You might not be ready, want, or be able, to go home at this time, but still want someone you care about to know you’re okay. You could be scared of how they might react or be worried about something that happened before you ran away. It can be very hard to make that first move or find the words you want to say to someone, for all sorts of reasons.

That is why we have a Message Home service, to make it easier.

If you want us to contact someone on your behalf they need to be aged 18 or over.

We are free, confidential and available 24/7.
