Winston's Wish

Winston's Wish helps children rebuild their lives after the death of a parent or sibling, enabling them to face the future with hope. We offer practical support and guidance to families, professionals and anyone concerned about a grieving child. We want children to avoid the problems that can occur in later life if they are unable to express their grief.

At Winston's Wish we provide help and support for bereaved children and young people up to the age of 18.

Our programmes recognise how children experience grief. We therefore include time to have fun, with creative activities as well as time to focus on and work through more painful issues.

Our service model has been adapted and used by many other organisations throughout the UK.
