Leagrave Scout Group

• Squirrels (4 to 6 years)
• Beavers (6 to 8 yrs old)
• Cubs (8 to 10 yrs old)
• Scouts (10 to 14)

Beavers, Cubs, Scouts meet at the Methodist Church Hall, High Street, Leagrave Luton, LU4 9LQ.

Squirrels meet at Lea Scout Hut, Bodmin Road, Leagrave, LU4 9BW.

We welcome young people from surrounding Leagrave, Lewsey, Hockwell Ring and areas of Luton.

We are part of the Worldwide Scouting Movement, with the Bedfordshire County, Falkes District and operate 4 sections on a voluntary basis.

The Drey, Colony, Pack, and Troop Leaders organise various activity programmes to meet the age ranges of each section. These programmes are wide and varied including such areas as:

• first aid
• IT
• camping
• knots & lashings
• orienteering
• pioneering
• shooting and archery
• climbing and abseiling
• hikes
• swimming
• canoeing and kayaking
• backwoods cooking
• axe and saw
• games
• many many more varied activities, all to equip your child or young person for future life
