Bedfordshire Choice Support DCA

Choice Support is an established and pioneering social care charity providing support services for disabled and disadvantaged people. We were formed in London in 1984 to help people with learning disabilities have better lives, and now work throughout much of England supporting people with a wide range of needs.

Our aim is to enable the people we support to take control of their lives and live the way they choose. We think everyone should have a good deal and live life to the full. Whoever we support, we are flexible and adaptable. We listen to what people want, and put them at the centre of everything we do.

Here is a list of the main types of service we offer:

Supported living is where people are tenants in their own home, and receive the support they need to live there.

Outreach is supporting people for a part of their time to do specific things, such as going shopping, attending college or managing money.

Shared lives is where a person who wants support is matched with a shared lives carer, and shares that person's family life.

Positive behavioural support is specialist support for people whose behaviours can challenge and for people on the autistic spectrum.

Care at Home are not contracted to Luton Borough Council.
