St Charalambos Greek Orthodox Church

We are an Orthodox church in the Archdiocese of Thyateira under the Ecumenical Patriarchate. Services are conducted in in Greek, as well as English, Romanian and Church Slavonic. We are a truly multi-ethnic and inclusive church. Children (including noisy toddlers!) are very welcome.

We are a Grade II listed building, the only Orthodox Church in Bedfordshire owning its premises, and we look forward to worshipping with you. On a typical Sunday, Matins (Morning Prayer) starts at 8.45 am and the Divine Liturgy follows at around 10 am. The whole service is usually over at around 11.30 am; but please remember that times are approximate and arrive early to avoid disappointment! After the service all are invited to join us at the Church Hall for tea, coffee, sandwiches and fellowship!
