Mentoring Support for Disabled People - Centre for Resolution

Centre for Resolution understands from our own experiences of disability and working with other organisations for people with disabilities, that having a mentor has many benefits.

The experiences and wisdom that Centre for Resolution’s mentors bring can often open doors that are normally closed. When people with disabilities engage in a mentoring scheme teachers, employers, parents and carers learn about their capabilities, in spite of any disabilities they may have.

Ultimately mentoring, at it’s core, guarantees people with disabilities that there is someone who cares about them, assures them they are not alone in dealing with day-to-day challenges, and makes them feel like they matter.
