Parents against child sexual exploitation

Pace is the leading national charity working with parents and carers whose children are sexually exploited.

Keep them safe: an interactive tool for parents

Understand the issue of child sexual exploitation, know the signs and be equipped to act. Pace, in partnership with Virtual College, has launched an interactive onlineĀ information package for parents on the signs of child sexual exploitation. This free tool is designed to equip parents with the information and knowledge to safeguard children from this abuse.

Support for Parents

If you have recently found out your child is being sexually exploited, or if you have concerns that they might be at risk, we recommend that you call Pace and speak to one of our experienced Parent Support Workers. We can talk through your immediate concerns, help you to assess the level of danger your child is in, and signpost you to agencies in your area who may be able to give you local support. Ongoing support is also available through our national parent support team, and through our online parent forum and parent network days.

Contact information and referrals

Pace welcomes referrals from professionals as well as self-referrals from parents. If you, or a parent you know, is affected by child sexual exploitation, call us or send us an email using the form on the website. Someone from our parent support team will be in touch to discuss the situation and what support and information Pace can offer.
