Families United Network

Families United Network (FUN) is a registered Charity and membership organisation which works to support children, young people and families living with disabilities throughout Bedfordshire.  Membership registration is now FREE and enables families to access all of our clubs and activities. Families must be registered members to access our services.

Families Untied Network can offer you and your family a support network and leisure activities, outings, school holiday clubs etc. 

PLEASE NOTE: as of the 21st August 2015 FUN moved to their new address in Luton and have a new telephone number.  The address and telephone number may be incorrect on the leaflets below the correct address and number is the one listed on the record. 

Parents do not need to attend an open day (as currently mentioned on the LO), but can request membership application forms by email or phone, or download from our website.  

The Clubs and Services that we currently run are as follows:

Holiday Club

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during all school holidays.

Times:  10.30am – 3.30pm

Users:  Children and young people with any additional need or disability aged from birth to 25 years; and their parents, carers and siblings.  Parents/carers remain onsite with their children and young people during the club.

Saturday Club

Alternate Saturdays during term-time.

Times:  10am – 4pm

Users:    Young people with additional needs or disabilities aged from 10 to 17 years.  This is respite service and the young people attend without their parents or carers.  The club can cater for both MLD and SLD young people, who can be provided with one-to-one support as needed.

Youth Club

Monday evenings during term-time

Times:  6.30pm – 8.30pm

Users:  Young people with any additional need or disability aged from 9to 17 years.  The young people attend without their parents or carers.

Young Adult Club

Tuesday evenings

Times: 6.30pm – 8.30pm

Users:  Young adults with any additional need or disability aged from 18 to 25 years.  Some of the young adults attend with their carers but this is not required.

Link Project

Monthly evening activities within the community for young people with additional needs or disabilities, accompanied by volunteer peer mentors.

Times:  evenings

Users:  Young people with MLD aged from 13 to 25 years

Trips & Outings

Various trips and outings organised throughout the year for children and young adults with additional needs and disabilities, and their families. 

100 Club
The 100 club is an opportunity for FUN to raise monies as well as a cash prize for 2 lucky winners each month (please see the rules and regulations document). To join in the fee is £12 per number per year.
