Listening Books - a UK charity providing an audiobook lending service.

Listening Books is a national charity that provides an audiobook lending service to anyone who has an illness, disability, learning difficulty or mental health condition that makes it difficult or impossible to read print, hold a book, turn its pages or read in the usual way.

Audiobooks are available in three easily accessible formats: MP3 CDs direct through the letterbox, downloading to a portable device using the Libby app, or streaming instantly online. The library has a wide range of fiction and non-fiction titles that include bestsellers from authors like J. K. Rowling and David Walliams, as well as supporting the National Curriculum from Key Stage 2 to A Level with set texts, revision guides and study aids.

Membership costs between £20 and £45 per year, but for those that would find the membership fees a barrier to joining, we usually have some free memberships available.
