Together
In partnership with Families United Network (FUN), the Early Years Advisors and the Autism Spectrum Team from the Special Educational Needs Service (SENS) run Together, a joint venture to meet the needs of families of children up to the ages of 7 with special educational needs and disabilities living in Luton.
Together runs from the FUN site at Britannia Estates. The group hold monthly meetings where carers have the opportunity to speak to professionals and meet with other carers. Guest speakers are regularly invited to share their expertise.
Meetings are free to attend and refreshments are available. Carers are able to bring their children with them where they are free use the play facilities; this option is to support childcare needs only and is not an alternative to school or early years settings.
