We’re Advance….and for forty years we’ve put people at the heart of everything we do.

We support more than 5,000 people - including disabled people, people with a mental health issue and people with a learning disability - at home, at work or in the community to live the life they choose, however varied or complex that life may be.

We offer lots of choice to a really wide range of individuals – from people with complex needs all the way to people managing Personal Budgets and hiring their own Personal Assistants. At the same time we’re becoming more joined up and responsive to what our customers want. Whether they are looking for a place to live, support in their daily lives, assistance in finding a job or a combination of all these things and more, they should be able to pick and choose what suits them.

The breadth of services that we offer is unique and growing. Our main areas used to be just Housing and Support, but these days we do a lot more: getting people into work, training people how to stay safe, advising people on the best way to plan and choose their support, or helping people take the step of becoming homeowners.

Where we don’t have all the answers, we point people in the right direction or team up with other organisations, learning and getting better at providing what people want along the way.
