Luton Local Policing Teams

In Luton, we place great importance in the concept of partnerships and Local Policing.

We are proud that our relationships with the local authority and other agencies, both statutory and voluntary, are positive and solid. We are continually looking at what we do to improve the service that we offer to our communities. We have introduced a combined Priority ASB case management team with Luton Borough Council Community Safety Team to ensure we target our resources more effectively against sustained ASB and support vulnerable victims who need our help most.

Following the restructure of Bedfordshire Police we have maintained our commitment to working with the Community. We have six “Priority Setting Areas”; Town Centre, Central, North, West, South and East. Each area is policed by a dedicated team of Police Community Support Officers who can commission support from the Local Police Operations Team to ensure we meet the needs of the community, implement long term sustainable solutions to address Crime and Anti-Social Behaviour and continue to “Fight Crime and Protect the Public”.
