Bethune Court

Bethune Court is sheltered housing provided by Luton Borough Council.

Each home is self contained, so you have the freedom and privacy of your own front door, an alarm system linked to a control centre, and the use of additional shared facilities. It enables you to live independently and feel secure knowing that there is help when you need it.

Facilities include:

  • a 24 hour emergency alarm system
  • a variety of social activities that you can choose to join in
  • a residents’ social area
  • communal gardens

Sheltered housing is generally for people over 60, although if you are younger you will be considered if you have a disability or have a need for community care. Priority is given to applicants who would most benefit from this type of accommodation.

If you want to move to sheltered housing you will need to complete an application form and medical form available to download from the website below . Your application will be assessed and awarded a banding based on your needs. You will then be sent a pin number allow you to bid on the properties advertised under Choice Based Lettings.
