Mencap is the voice of learning disability. Everything we do is about valuing and supporting people with a learning disability and their families and carers. We aim to provide a fuller social life for people with learning disabilities and to offer help and advice to their parents and carers. Acitivitites include clubs, outings and fundraising.

Read more about what learning disability is, find out about its causes and what it means for people with a learning disability by visiting our website.

We provide community support, advice and information. Contact us for more information on our social calendar,  regular discos at Bramingham, club nights and our popular drama club for people aged 16+ every Thursday evening.

Also run Planning for the Future events which are a chance for families and carers to get face-to-face advice from a legal professional about writing wills and setting up trusts for the benefit of someone with a learning disability.
