St Francis' Church
Welcome to St Francis, Luton with St Hugh, Cockernhoe. We are a friendly evangelical Anglican church in the east of Luton.
We are part of the Diocese of St Albans, within the Church of England and a member of the New Wine network of churches.
Our regular Sunday services are at 9.15 and 10.30 for 11.00 at St Francis.
Coffee Time
Between the 9.15 service and the formal start of “10.30 for 11.00″, we share coffee, tea and other refreshments together. This is a time for all members of St Francis’ – as well as visitors and newcomers – to spend time together, mingle, chat and share fellowship.
All our coffee and tea is Fairtrade so you can be sure that those who produced it have received a fair wage for their work.
Children and Youth
At St Francis’ we take the responsibility of safeguarding children as priority. We have a child protection policy in place and operate safer recruitment procedures.
In addition we have two child advocates who are available to support children as necessary. These are recognisable adults (regular attendees) whom children can approach if they require advice or support.
We are blessed to have a team of dedicated and enthusiastic adults who serve our growing population of children in our Sunday Club. Currently there are three age groups based loosely on school years: Age 3 – Year 2; Year 3 – Year 6; Year 7 – Year 11.
