Kent Athletic Club

The club has been established for over a hundred years and is currently owned by four trustees. The membership is a family membership which allows parents to bring children to the facilities up to the age of sixteen after which they must have their own membership.

The club has its own football club with a football pitch located at the rear of the premises.  They have a private bowls green with a fully serviced clubhouse to relax after the match and the club has its own Golf section.  These are in addition to the usual indoor sports of dominoes, darts, pool and chess. All of these facilities are funded by their own bars.

Every Friday evening the club organises a quiz night which is free entry although it is very competitive as far as the participants are concerned.
Every Saturday night there is a live band for which entry is free to members guests can come for the cost of £2 per person.

Every Sunday you can either play bingo in the function room or enjoy the resident disco. They also run Open The Box for which large sums can be won for the cost of a pound per ticket.
